TMTYTF – I would steer away from swear words, and ChildofAlma’s definition of hate-based is pretty right on. The only way I can see a Smart Alec album working in this contest would be to do an album of bad puns, but given their previous albums I’m not sure they would be a good fit. I find Kids + swearing, sex and/or bathroom humor = not such a good idea.

At first, I wasn’t so sure about this. Then got to thinking, only Smart Alec could even attempt to pull off a children’s album. It’s gonna be funny. I do have some questions about the content though, even though they may sound dumb.

Are we allowed to use swear words?

What exactly defines hate based?

Even if it’s an adult-humored children’s concept album, would that be okay?

Please get back to me on these questions b/c I am extremely curious and am interested in the contest

Y’know, originally I thought that The Rubbers would work great for this contest. Now I’m thinking not so much, lol. This is certainly an interesting and unique contest idea, and I for one am looking forward to entering. Solomon X. Lambert children’s album anyone? No? Too much? Well, I guess I’ll have to get work…
